The Metamorphosis

What if tomorrow we wake up as an insect, just like Gregor Samsa?

This was a question that came to my mind after finished The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka today. I realized that I might be concluding it wrong yesterday. I think the metamorphosis happens in Gregor’s real life, not in his dream. So, that is why it was called metamorphosis. I guess.

Imagine being the one and only person who suddenly turned to be an insect in your family. How do you think your feeling? Of course, it’s gonna be so sad, confuse, and scary at the same time, right?

And then, I came with another question.

What is the home, actually?

When I was reading this novel, I quite shocked with how the way Kafka shows every characters. It is honestly showing the possibility of “our true colours" as an human.

Everything is temporary, even our closest one too. However, when there’s a love, there’s a life.

Get a transforming into a good things better than a bad one, isn’t it?

So, let’s spread love and kindness to eachother.
