upside down.
“Fantasy; a room to escape from reality.” Haha, do me a lemon, man!
One day, the feeling of “don’t know what to do" brought me to stream and watch the random things.
Suddenly, I found myself was digging into the folder of my watchlist movies. Then, I randomly selected Alice’s Adventures in the Wonderland to watch.
Actually, I don’t really remember “did I’ve watched the movie back in the old days or not?” but I think I did it once or twice without the ending part (?) 🤔 Cause I don’t really remember how the plot was. So, I decided to put it in my watchlist and someday gonna spend a time to watch it.
Now, the day comes.
I tried to watch the movie without any expectation, “well, it just a fantasy, a movie for children, so let’s have a chill~” this what I think about at first, but..
Alas!!
From the beginning of the movie, where Alice starts her imagination about “her world” till the end of her journeys…
I felt.. trapped.
It makes me realize that:
Children’s literature isn’t as simple as I thought. It is something that can content (with) and hide thousand emotions and values at the same time. It has no difference with Adult’s literature. And, yeah.. that’s should be normalised.
I just know that now, but it’s ok. I learned again that:
I shouldn’t be underestimated “simple and trivial" things.
